Please review ALL the judging criteria for turn ins
Please note that we have to follow the rules strictly if any of the turn ins do not specifically follow the turn in and is not clear, it will not pass. It will help if each turn in has a README that shows how it is compliant for the rules on turn in. Example "LICENSE" - etc. We had to fail nearly 20% of projects last time because they just "forgot" the open source license file. DOUBLE CHECK COMPLIANCE! Money is on the line and if your tool would win - if ONE of these isn't turned in - your project is eliminated. Do not make it hard for the judges to see where the components are - make it SUPER EASY TO FIND THEM AND ARE CLEAR YOUR SUBMISSION IS COMPLETE!
Turn the following into a README so it is CLEAR your project is compliant:
Provide a URL to your code repository for judging and testing.
The repository must be public and open source by including an MIT or Apache 2.0 open source license file.
The repository must contain a README with setup instructions.
Include either a live deployment URL or step-by-step instructions
Include a text description that should explain the features and functionality of your Project.
Include a demonstration video of your Project. The video portion of the Submission:
Include an Architecture Diagram --
Include Evidence Dataset Documentation --
Include an Accuracy Report --
Include Agent Execution Logs –

Sir, I have a few questions regarding my project submission.
I have deployed my project and created a web interface that users can connect to. The system connects to the user machine and analyzes the desktop/OS environment. I also maintain the Git repository, which is currently private, but I will make it public once the submission period ends.
I have a few concerns and would appreciate your guidance.
First, during testing, I tested the system on my HP laptop as well as on the datasets you provided. For the system to connect to the victim/client machine, a small file/agent needs to be downloaded on the target machine. This file is temporary and automatically destroys/removes itself once the investigation or analysis is completed. Would judges be comfortable downloading and running such a file during evaluation?
Second, my system uses a global web interface. A judge can simply open the project URL, access the homepage, and then the rest of the workflow is handled automatically by the platform itself. Is this deployment model acceptable for judging?
Third, I feel that 3 minutes is a very short duration to properly explain the architecture, autonomous workflows, contradiction detection, execution flow, evidence integrity, and complete agent orchestration. Would there be any possibility of allowing a slightly longer demonstration window, such as 5 minutes?
Additionally, I plan to include:
* the GitHub repository,
* execution flow documentation,
* complete step-by-step agent workflow,
* architecture explanation,
* and detailed notes regarding how the system operates.
I also wanted to understand the judging expectations more clearly. Since analyzing OS logs and artifacts can become relatively straightforward when proper tools already exist, I would like to better understand the scope judges are evaluating projects on. Are judges mainly focusing on:
* autonomous reasoning,
* orchestration,
* evidence integrity,
* self-correction,
* usability,
* architecture,
* or overall innovation?
Finally, since the platform asks judges/users to download a temporary bridge/agent file in order to establish a secure investigation connection, should I include additional documentation explaining:
* the purpose of the file,
* that it does not harm the system,
* that it follows ethical/security rules,
* and that it only acts as a secure bridge for forensic analysis?
I want to ensure the project remains transparent, trustworthy, and compliant with all hackathon requirements.
Thank you.
